The City of LA Shows Some Love for KITS Sponsor

This week at a fun-filled event in DTLA, the Los Angeles City Council declared September 21, 2019 "Earth, Wind and Fire Day"for their contribution to entertainment.

Real fans of the R&B super group know why that date was chosen. They are also well-acquainted with the soaring falsetto of EWF front man, Phillp Bailey. What you may not know is that the man with the iconic voice is not only an original band member, he is also an original KITS sponsor. For 10 years Mr. Bailey and his family have generously supported Kids in the Spotlight through his foundation, Music is Unity.

With a heart to help fostered and emancipated youth thrive, Music is Unity works tirelessly to "financially support agencies that provide programming to enhance the ability of foster youth to transition successfully into adulthood." We are so grateful to be one of the many recipients of their generosity.
