KITS Team Shines in Africa
Team KITS is repped for real at Del York Creative Academy in Lagos, Nigeria as KITS Awards Executive Producers T. Faye Griffin and Tiffany Thomas, longtime KITS film director Grant Housley, and KITS Sr. Case Manager/Screenwriting Instructor Ryan Gibson arrive for a month-long residency at the premier film school in Africa that draws aspiring filmmakers from across the continent. The quartet is part of 20+ member team of Hollywood professionals formed by Housley to teach directing, screenwriting, producing and all aspects of film and television production.
The training program is the brain-child and heart project of DCA founder Linus Idahosa began in 2009 as a means to groom creative disruptors who will use the arts to change the narrative in Nigeria and Africa-at-Large by "telling their stories their way" (Something KITS a lot about).
