Films produced by Kids in the Spotlight, Inc. continue to earn their place on festival marquees across the country and around the world. This week it was announced that the 2019 award-winner, Parallel, was named an official selection for two film festivals-- the Indy Film Library and the IndieX Film Awards where the film was nominated in the categories of Best Dramatic Short and Best Director, scoring a win Best Ensemble Cast.

The compelling drama is also nominated for the Indy Film Library's "Audience Choice Award." Voting is currently open to the public. Directed by longtime KITS ambassador, Writer-Producer-Director David Mahmoudieh, and featuring a guest star turn by former child actor, Corey Feldman, Parellel turns the lens on the subject of sexual harassment in schools.
